Aermoo M1
Aermoo M1

Review
The Aermoo M1 is a smartphone that is designed to survive. There is not one of the thinner devices to fit nicely in you suit. It is meant to last and be used when tracking, sport, outdoors or if you work in a harsh environment where the double glass covered body, or polished aluminium where the aesthetics are the key features. Nevertheless, it is NOT and ugly phone, it is very well designed, futuristic and show how a tuff device should be like. It is designed for you that need a ruff device and not be worry about using it with white globes. The security features with It incorporated finger print sensor in the back in a very well-placed location, make it super easy to work with. In my opinion the finger print sensor it is now the best protection, since the face recognition yet has its flaws, and it’s in it first development stages so in a few month or years it will be improved in a better way. Maybe with the new A.I. chipsets working with the camera sensor will make this feature more secure.
The Aermoo M1 has 6 push keys at its sides, 3 on each. Volume up/down, SOS which only works with a native application, I could not find any way to configure it to work with any other. The dedicated camera key is not the best. Maybe because it’s a phone meant to be used outdoors, but it takes 5 seconds to active the camera. Maybe not the fastest but it does the work, in time.
The PPT key is useful in outdoors, sports, or trekking where with a simple touch you can ask for help, transmit your news, or simple a very fast way.
The 2 sims slots are very convenient. It’s a hybrid system, which means you can use it the two slots to allocate 2 sims or 1 sim + 1 microSD. And here we can find the smartphone can handle almost all the fastest microSD cards.
The battery life it is amazing. Since it is not meant to be a gamer phone, but the Mediatek P25 makes it possible and its 6Gb Ram can handle any of the new heavy games. But, as I mention it is not quite the idea of the phone. You can multitask, use the geo location, and the smartphone brings its own application with a lot of tools meant to survival, sports, heavy duty works, etc.
The cameras do its works, the Sony cmos sensor of 21.5Mpx at f/2.0. Works well under low light condition, and of course at outdoors with a bright light or cloudy day will take amazing pictures.
The scenes modes make it practical and simple to use. Once again, you can play around with the manual settings and capture your best pics with your custom settings, but if you are hanging in a rope at 750m height your worries won’t be playing around with the ISO, speed and aperture, let the phone do it for you, capture the moment, and continue with your amazing life.
Coming back to the body and the construction, the aluminium alloy, the rugged cover and body with the Gorilla Glass 5 makes it really an extreme device for the extreme people. You can drop it in the water while kayaking, in the snow, sand, you named, it will hold. Again, it is not a diver phone, you shouldn’t be snorkelling and talking to a friend in the shore, but for those instants where you think everything is lost and your way out or the communication with the world now is going be with smoke signals, well, Aermoo M1 will help you out with this.
